  • Dorothy Netherland Mementos. There will be a reception on January 26, 2012 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with an artist talk at 6:00 p.m. in Blackbridge Hall Art Gallery, 111 South Clarke Street. Curated by senior art major Thomas Mizelle in fulfillment of his capstone thesis project.   • The Taming of the Shrew. 8:00 p.m. in Russell Auditorium on Georgia College and State University Campus. The world of the Taming of the Shrew is one rife with classic, comic situations, servants disguised as their masters, masters disguised as servants, young lovers deceiving their fathers, and joyful triple marriages. Shakespeare masterfully draws inspiration from the Italian Renaissance theatrical tradition of commedia dell’arte or “comedy of craft” to provide his characters, situations and settings for his play. February 7:

  • Little Cupids Club. hosted by Crooked Pines Farm. While the parents are dining, their children ages 5 to 12 are invited for dinner and fun from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The Little Cupids evening will include a hayride, craft activity, games and dinner for your child.   • Ho, Ho, Homicide a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater. presented by The Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce. "Despite the efforts of the arctic inhabitants, productivity is at an all-time low, upsetting many and putting Santa's legacy at stake. Desperate for a change, there are many who are willing to do almost anything to increase efficiency and restore peace at the North Pole.   • Celebrate Patriotism. a pre-memorial day celebration, presented by Eatonton Kiwanis Club and Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce at The Plaza Arts Center in downtown Eatonton.
